ABOUT BARDAHL - Events Around The World - No-Oil Run
In 1999, a new record was set in Malaysia with Bardahl’s B1 Oil Treatment. A total of 1,330 km journey was completed by two cars running without engine oils - only treated with Bardahl’s B1 Oil Treatment – and without overheating or engine burnt.
The Objective
To prove the exceptional quality of Bardahl Engine Treatment with “Polar Attraction” formula in protecting the car engine from wear and tear under extreme driving conditions.
The Test Vehicles
Two 1998 Proton 1.5L GL Manual Transmission vehicles rented from car rental company to ensure that no special engine modifications were made.
The vehicles had a mileage from 40,000 km to 65,000 km on the odometer before the NO-OIL-RUN started.
The Witness
The No-Oil-Run event was certified by the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) under supervision of Mr. Ismail Abu Talib, Technical Officer of the Automobile Association of Malaysia (AAM) and witnessed by Mr. Reuben Anthony, from the Malaysian Book of Records.
